Concept 19 question # 2

If I were to choose only one character from the previous page to tell the story I would use the girl Bonnie. She would be the best candidate because she has been asked by both of the boys so she has all of the knowledge. I would have the setting be her on the swing with a flower. She would be taking a petal of the flower and calling both names one after the other. She decides that the last one she calls before all the petals are gone will be the one she takes to the dance.

Concept 18 question # 1

If I were to write about the picture depicted above I would write a story about discrimination. The story would take place in the early 1960's when schools were beginning to become "mixed" and blacks and whites could go to the same school. I would have the little girl be the protagonist and she is struggling to fit in her new school with all the racism. I would have the other people in the picture be her body guards that don't let anyone insult her or make physical contact with her.

Concept 15 question # 1

1)The theme of the movie Mr. Smith goes to Washington is good versus evil.

2) The theme of the movie Robots is pursuing great things in life.

3) The theme of The wizard of Oz is the importance of being home with your loved ones.

Concept 14- Beats For Citizen Kane

1) Kane dies after he utters the word rosebud. His whole life is told in a montage of clips that show him with Adolf Hitler, the President, His wife, and talking to a crowd of people about his newspaper.

2)Kane is taken by his Thacher who says that he will raise Kane to be a successful business man.

3) When Kane decides that he doesn't want to do what Thatcher wants and he becomes a newspaper editor.

4) He opens his own Newspaper place and even if it costs him 1 million dollars every year he says he'll keep it open.

5)Kane finds a woman who wants to become a singer and marries her. He puts all of his efforts into making her dreams of singing come true.

6) Susan can't stand being all alone all the time in the huge mansion that she lives in so she leaves Kane.

7) Kane has everything he has absolutely nothing that he wants. All Kane has now are the memories that he has when he was truly happy; the time when he lived with his parents.

Charles Foster Kane

As of what I've seen of the film so far I could say that Charles Foster Kane was a very wealthy man and he was known worldwide. In the montage that I saw Kane had divorced and remarried and he was the owner of a very successful newspaper. The last word he uttered was Rosebud.

Concept 13 question # 1

There are many choices that I wish I had taken in the past. For example when I was younger and I was given the opportunity to go study on a ship and travel to different parts of the world for a year. As of now I wish I would have made the year long voyage. If my life were a movie I doubt that my life would intersect with my current reality. If my life was a movie and I had changed that decision a few years back I would probably be going to a different school and I would have been around different people.

Favorite Freaks and Geeks.

My favorite freaks and geeks episode would have to be the party episode because it was very creative. In the episode Lindsay throws a party thinking it would go well and that Daniel will like her but at the party everything goes wrong and she ends up having a terrible time. I thought that the switching of alcohol, the people believing that they were drunk when they weren't and Bill actually getting drunk was hilarious. I really liked the part where Ken revealed at the end of the episode that he knew he wasn't drunk and won 87 dollars from people who thought they were drunk.
