                        I have to admit that I really liked your concept book. It was filled with a lot of helpful information. I can safely say that if I never read your book I would be writing 3rd grade scripts for a long time. The book showed me to think outside the box and make my stories unique. It made me realize that screenwriting it more than something you do for money, its fun! Not only has the book taught me to write better scripts, it has also taught me to be a more professional and courteous person. This book has really made a significant impact on me by challenging me to continuously develop new ideas and listen to others ideas to create the most successful scripts possible. Thank you for showing your concepts in this book.

Dear Amy,

     You must follow the correct format for your sript or there will be serious consequences!. First off, if the director or the person who is buying your script has trouble reading it they are not going to buy it. They need you to make it simple and in correct format so that they can understand it quickly. If there are grammar or punctuation errors the buyer will think that your script is bad and or wont even bother reading it. If you have a clean script that is error free then the will see you as a smart person and will like it more. If the format is wrong the buyer might see the story differently than you and may see a different story than what you wanted them to see. Take all of this into account before submitting your script!

Concept 92 Q.

The film genres that I gravitate to the most would be horror and thriller films because those films keep you on the edge of your seat at all times. I guess these genres reflect my personality and my approach toward life because I am an adventurous individual. I take risks and don't usually think of the consequences until it is too late and I am stuck somewhere that is scary or uncomfortable for me.

I watched a music video about a love song and through the visuals I got a lot of information. I saw that the boy was missing the girl and the girl was missing the boy. The boy was walking to the girls house, but she wasn't there. He didn't know that she was dead and kept looking for him. She was by his side, but he couldn't see her because she was a ghost.

Concept 89 Q.1

Anime, my favorite cartoon ( Naruto) is an anime! From what I've seen in American television shows I'd say that Naruto is a more well developed show than the American cartoons. Cartoons like Family guy and American Dad are an embarrassment to the Americans in my opinion. They have no moral values and only serve to make people laugh. Unlike American cartoons, Naruto actually portrays the hardships that a lot of different people face at times and has a lot of moral values.

Concept 88 Q.1

I think that the most prominent problem at Gunderson High School is the food. In the cafeteria there are multiple recipes for obesity. When you get your pizza there is enough grease on the pizza to fill a 150 ml cup. The way I would go about making a documentary about this would be by following some kids and talking to them about their choices of food in the cafeteria and why they choose what they do. After that I would get a senior who hasn't ever  consumed a school lunch and a senior who relies on school lunches. I would ask them some questions and see who is healthier.

Out of a pirate explorer and an archeologist I'd choose the explorer to go on a quest. Unlike the pirate which would only be on a ship and on the open water the explorer can be anywhere. The archeologist can only be on land so that eliminates 71% of the world that he can be traveling. I would have my explorer be on a quest to catch 2 animals of every species on the planet so that I can have them reproduce and create a larger population. This would be a life long quest and my explorer would be eager to take  the challenge. 

Concept 86 Q.1

I'd have to say that Inception was the most suspenseful movie that I've seen. It just keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the movie because of the mind boggling puzzles and the ambiguity in there. I think that no one really knows what is happening throughout the film because every action can be interpreted in various ways. In the movie the protagonist has to implant a thought into another persons mind to save a company and then he can go back to the united states and see his children.  He flees the country at first because the police think that he killed his wife when in reality the wife committed suicide. What keeps me guessing is the transitions from dream state to reality. We never really know whether he is dreaming or he is awake.

Concept 85 Q. 2

I think that it is better to have loved and lost rather than to have never loved because all humans need some love. If you never had a love then I think that your life has been wasted and that person has accomplished nothing. Ever since the beginning of time people had love for one another. It's just something that all humans must go through to really experience life. If you have loved someone and lost them then you'll see how much it means and you'll at least have experienced it for sometime.

Concept #84 Q.3

The scariest movie that I've ever seen would have to be It by Stephen King. That movie terrified me because of the random moments in which the clown popped up. I'd never suspect him to pop up in some scenes and he would which would scare me. Also, the clown in general was terrifying because I've always  been scared of clowns. When I was 4 years old I was going to get a balloon from a clown at the fair.  When I reached out to take the Balloon in the shape of a dog the clown grabbed my arm and lifted me into the air. He showed me his sharp teeth and made me cry. That encounter with a real life clown made the movie that much more horrific.

If one of the characters in my movie had the ability to travel through time they'd have a harder time living without modern conveniences rather than possessing knowledge on future events/ technologies and not knowing how it works. The reason for this would be that my character would be a very germaphobic person. They will need the hand sanitizer, baby wipes, ovens, bathrooms, and other technologies that are easy to use and keep you clean. If they were in the future they would like it better because they will learn how to use the equipment and will be more comfortable in that time period.

If I had the opportunity to interview Buffalo Bill Cody and ask him 10 questions I would probably use his answers to make a movie about a retired person who used to be renowned worldwide. That is because the information that I'm going to be getting is from a well known actor that is retired. His answers will make up the perfect character. I can show how such a famous person deals with their daily life after they are retired because we never really do know what happens to them. They just fall off the face off of the earth? I would ask Buffalo Bill Cody about his daily activities and struggles to make the movie accurate. I might ask him about his favorite scenes so that I can put him in those situations to keep the people at the edge of their seats.

Joseph, a lonely old man was on the verge of committing suicide. He was standing on top of a 500 foot building and decided to take the leap. While he was falling a black hole opened up right under him and ate him up. The black hole then spat him out in a new world. In this world everyone had 7 hands and their head was where a normal humans stomach would be. To adapt to the new society which he was eager to be apart of he made an apparatus that allowed him to control seven hands with his two hands. At first he was ostracized, but after a while he began to blend in and was accepted.

The saddest thing that I've ever experienced in my life would have to be the time when my dog (Chico) was run over by a truck right in front of my eyes. This was a very tragic event and I never saw it coming. I thought that my dog was going to live for at least 7 more years. He was only 2 years old when he was killed and it made me realize that I shouldn't be taking things for granted everyday. I should acknowledge the people around me more often for doing the things they do for me.

If the audience knew nothing about my story before they came in to watch it they would probably have t wait 3 seconds to find out what it is about. The first scene would be the main character running away from the cops with a bag of money in his car. The audience would immediately know that it was an action thriller and would be on the edge of their seat throughout the rest of the movie.

concept 77 #1

In my opinion the most expensive elements would have to be the cars, actors and explosions. Everything else will not cost very much given that it will take place in the dessert and will only be around 50 minutes long. The actors are most definitely critical to the success of the story because without them there would be no story. The cars are a must because there will be a lot of chasing scenes and without them the movie would be about a couple of kids in a desert. The bomb is one of the most important parts of the movie because that is how the kids get revenge, desrtoy the evidence and wrap up the story.

Concept 76 # 2

After viewing my story cards the gaps between each red do were more or less consistent with each  other.  There was a red dot on most cards because my character is very important to the story and there is only 7 characters in the low-budget film that I am writing. There is only one part in my story cards where there isn't a red dot for about 3-4 spaces. Within those 3-4 scenes that my character does not appear I can have him drive by or appear in the background. This can give the audience something to notice and keep them on their toes.

Concept #75 Question #3

My favorite teen oriented program is Wizards of Waverly Place. I think that the show makes adults see teens as mischievous, unpredictable, and irresponsible children. Yet to the smaller children the teenagers are seen as awesome people and serve as role models to them. Worldwide the show still gives the same type of feeling to adults and children about teenagers. The genre is science fiction and comedy which already tells you that the kids are going to be doing funny things that are out of this world.

Honestly, the way I view my world is not a sitcom, or a science experiment but a soap opera. Right now in these high school years I think that most teenagers would say the same. There is always conflict and drama in these years because teenagers have mood swings. One day they can be really happy and the next day they might want to start a fight with you. These films influence the way I want to develop a film because I would like to write a good movie about teenagers and recreate the scenarios that I've been through and seen vividly on paper. If I find myself writing something different I would still probably throw in some drama because I know it all too well.
