Concept 57 # 3

If my character is planning to break up with his date at a fancy restaurant then he should break up with her during dessert. If I only had two pages for the whold dining scene I would have it really cliche and make it like all other break-ups in movies. The girl will hear the news, grab the remaining dessert, throw it at the protagonist and then walk out. The scene following this one would be the girls friends consoling her because she just got dumped.
